Thermotex Infrared Heat Treatment
The goal of any physical therapy modality is to increase the blood flow to a specific area and either restore or increase the function of the target tissue. The patented infrared pads will not overheat the tissues and will not cause the dehydration of any of the body fluids from the horse.
After use there will be an increase in circulation that will allow for more nutrients to be present to the healing muscle cells and an increased capacity to carry away the toxic by-products of inflammation. Pain will be reduced, by the blanket and will expedite a break in the inflammatory response.
